MISSION

RITES OF STEEL is a small, irregular print tabloid covering underground metal, live rooms, demos, tapes, labels, rehearsal spaces and the scenes that survive below the press-release layer.

It is not a lifestyle site, not a ranking machine, and not a content pipeline. It is eight pages of print when there is enough worth putting on paper.

WHAT WILL BE IN IT

Interviews with bands, labels, promoters and lifers
Demo, tape, vinyl and small-label reviews
Live reports from proper rooms and strange corners
Short essays on metal culture without industry polish
Flyers, listings, fragments, notes and useful noise
